RMF’s newest Barrel 18 line will be for bulk processing of alkaline and acid zinc nickel alloy electroplating. This line features excellent corrosion production, heat resistance and barrier for galvanic corrosion for automotive under hood and under body parts. The line speed can process 8 to 10 loads per hour and has a capacity of 70-90 kg loads (est. depending on the part). Due to new mechanical and electro-chemical developments around the processing of zinc nickel, improved environmental techniques and the need for expanded capacity, RMF decided in late 2016 to build a new barrel line in the Matrix facility. This new line will give RMF 50% more capacity to add to its existing customer base.
